La Favorita recommends… Orecchiette pasta with Italian sausage and “Pecorino Romano DOP” cheese 👇

Ingredients to serve 4: 400 g Orecchiette, 300 g Italian sausage, 1 jar La Favorita Fish “Pecorino Romano DOP” sauce, 1 white onion, salt, oil.

1️⃣ Peel and finely chop the onion and cook it slowly in a saucepan with the oil.

2️⃣ In the meantime skin the sausage, break it up into fairly large pieces with your hands and add it to the fried onion.

3️⃣ Cook the sausage briskly for 15 minutes, stirring often. Turn off the heat, pour in a jar of “Pecorino Romano DOP” and mix thoroughly.

4️⃣ In the meantime, cook the orecchiette pasta in plenty of boiling water salted to taste. Drain the pasta and add to the sausage sauce in the pan, mix and serve piping hot!
